X-Padder Tutorial

This tutorial will allow you to use any USB controller with the EmuZone Console, which will result in the ultimate online gaming experience!

Step 1: Install X-Padder

This program does not need to be installed so save it to an easily accessible place.

Step 2: Run X-Padder

After plugging in the USB controller of your choice, run X-Padder. From here you need to click on the small controller looking icon to start a new controller template. Depending on the controller you are using, you can then enable analogs and the D-Pad. After all your controls are enabled, you need to press all of the buttons on your controller. Visually confirm that each button shows up on the blank template. After all of your buttons are shown, go to the right tab and click save/close.

Step 3: Assigning Keys

To assign a key to your controller, just click on the button you want to assign. From there a mock keyboard comes up and you click on the key you want to assign to that button. If you don't remember which button is located where on the template, don't worry, just press the button and it will light up. After you assign all the buttons you can click on the little controller icon on the top left and select save as.

Step 4: Enjoy Gaming on the EmuZone with a controller!

You are finished! Remember that the controls for a game are on it's page in the EmuZone console. That way you know what buttons to assign where you need them. Now it's time for some gaming!
