Kat's Run is basically a Mario Kart close with anime chicks driving cars instead of Nintendo characters with go carts. The controls are virtually identical and the graphics are almost the same. One issue we kept running into was that the barriers were gray and often matched the street. This caused us to keep crashing into the barriers and getting stuck. Of course memorizing the tracks will allievate this, but it hurts this game on an initial play. Items in Kat's Run do exist but from what I have seen they are just objects such as a teddy bear or a high heel shoe that you throw in front of you. To me, this game will be a great drunken party game, but I think everytime we will just get frustrated by the barriers and just pop in Mario Kart.
