The first ever vgMastersClub: Master of Video Games live competition was held on August 28 and 29 2010 at Chibi-Pa Go in West Palm Beach, Florida. The turn out was huge; with over 100 people being able to have their shot at some retro glory. The breakdown of how this worked was that we had 2 different competitions with each having their own prize, a custom golden version of the game w/ a custom game case. The first round was a 6 minute timed run through each game with the top 3 highest scores making it to the big stage for the epic rare mystery game finals.

The time is finally upon us! The Master of Video Games is coming to West Palm Beach Florida this weekend at the Chibi-Pa Go Festival! Here's how it is going to work...

Friday there will be signups throughout the evening. Round one is from 10 to Midnight. The first hour is dedicated to Super Mario Bros and the second hour is for the mystery game. If we have more people signed up then time allows, we will continue Round one on Saturday evening.

Saturday is the finals. The top 3 individuals from each competition will compete in an Epic Super Rare retro game finals. It will likely be the first time anyone has actually played these games on an actual console!

We will also have vgMasters T-Shirts for sale as well as a $2 Atari 2600 grab bag going on during the competitions. Hope to see some of you there!
